Mission

Investigate, collect, disseminate and present the highlights of international contemporary art, its collection of modern and contemporary art and its founder Rufino Tamayo, to enrich the aesthetic experience and critical sense of the different publics of the museum through research and the interpretation of his exhibitions.

Vision

To consolidate itself as one of the most important institutions at national and international level for the presentation and critical review of the art of the last 50 years, through an annual program of high quality activities that provide tools to the public to know and enjoy artistic practices of our time, as well as the work of its founder and its collection of modern art.
